Last night I spent a wonderful evening with one of my oldest and dearest friends in the world: Kathryn. She and I went shopping at Bay/Bloor, avoided the craziness of the film festival crowd (although, I am starting to think that since I was having a very good hair day maybe it might've been a good idea to try to track down one or two celebrities) and then enjoyed a very delicious dinner at Spring Rolls.
I tried an avocado milkshake. It tasted like avocado. It was also sweet. It was good. I would drink it again, but maybe not for a year or so. Don't want to overdose on the fatty goodness that is an avocado milkshake.
We walked home up Yonge Street (aka the longest continuous street in the world!) and chatted about all sorts of things. It was SO great to spend time with Kat and finally, FINALLY AFTER A WEEK, I can say that someone (and some places) has reminded me what I love so much about being home.
Still missing England, A LOT. Still missing my friends who are not in Toronto, A LOT. But, Toronto in the fall is starting to make me feel all warm and fuzzy the way it always has before.
