Short but sweet: an update.
I arrived at 5:30am yesterday morning, an hour ahead of schedule (thank you British Airways and your speeding pilot) and headed straight down to Brighton.
Greeted by sunshine and bright blue skies I bought myself a latte, met up with my friend Ru and took a stroll down memory lane (and the Brighton Lanes, North Laines, seafront and good old Western Road).
For those of you who were here with me last year, here are some important things to know:
An ex-Sussex student can still log on to campus computers
El Taco is still open
Traffic is driving in both directions on North Street again
A Citysaver bus ticket is now £3.20
Primark's new store (just down the road from the old one) is open and really big
There is still scaffolding on the Pavilion
Zap club is gone and a new club called Digital has replaced it
Oceana (under the odeon on the seafront) is open
The Beach nightclub is apparently finally being gutted and redone
and finally.... this place, although still pulling on my heartstrings and begging me to stay, is not the same without you.
More to come as soon as I can get online again.

Thank you for the update, Renee. It got me a bit choked up to read about the little things. xo
