Indy, Indy

Finally after all of the anticipation, build-up and excitement of the fourth Indiana Jones movie it turned out to be mediocre at most. It's not the worst of the series (I'm currently watching The Temple of Doom, and Oh God, is this movie terrible!) but it certainly was no Raiders or The Last Crusade. I think that it was consistent with the other films in terms of cheesy plot lines and ridiculous stunts, but I think because it's 2008 and we've seen so many good action flicks this one just seems like an old movie with better special effects. Which, unfortunately, has spoiled The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull for me. I don't need to see animated gofers and bugs and monkeys. I much rather sand storms, cart races and Sean Connery.

But, I enjoyed the film, and especially enjoyed seeing it a day early for free at one of the Toronto screenings (thank you, Scott).

In other news, there is not much other news to share. I've been lazy with my blog this last week, but I will update soon with stories of meeting baseball players, making serious changes in my life, and the next steps on the road to London.
