I will eventually get to tell you about the Sunday and Monday in NYC, but forgot to mention the amazing celebrity sighting! No trip to New York is complete without at least one celebrity sighting.
After our dinner at Florent (which is sadly closing in just under one month) we were walking around Greenwich village and after nearly running into a woman bent over to adjust her shoes, I noticed a very familiar looking man. In his late 60's, long greasy hair, sweaty (like the rest of us) but in a nice shirt and trousers. I turn to my brother:
"Hey Scott, that guy looks like Harvey Keitel."
He takes a look over his shoulder at the man and then responds, quite excitedly I might add:
"That's because it IS Harvey Keitel!"
The man will be 70 years old next May and to be honest, looks almost the same as he did in Pulp Fiction 14 years ago... wow, does anyone else have trouble believing that film came out THAT long ago!
