zune - part two

So, as I mentioned last week, I am now the proud owner of a Zune mp3 player. It's small, lightweight, and sleek looking. 8GB and just the right size for short-distance travel.

I still love my 30GB Video ipod, but the Zune is a nice change. For one, because it can only hold just over a 1/4 of what my big ipod holds, I have only put on my very favourite music. So, by default, Zune sometimes gets preference. But like I said, it's also super lightweight so that is a plus.

My only complaint at the moment is the computer Zune music player for my PC. It's not as easy to use as itunes. Maybe I'm just used to itunes and the new player will take time getting used to, but I don't think so. The music is categorized into artist/album/song and though you can create playlists, etc. it's just not as simple as itunes. BUT, it looks a hell of a lot prettier.

Zune is great, so far no real complaints, and is certainly more attractive than even the most stylish ipod. Though, I have a sneaking suspicion that apple fans would disagree becase it doesn't have the rounded corners and shiny surface that apple is so fond of.

To sum up: Zune and I are getting along just fine. More later.
