It's been awhile...

It's been awhile since I wrote about how much I miss Brighton, so I'm taking a moment to think about 20 of the wonderful things that I had there and do not have here. I'm not moaning about it this time, just feeling nostalgic and really fortunate to have had such an amazing time there. So here goes:

20 Things I really miss about Brighton. (in no particular order)

1) Tuaca aka the delicious vanilla spiced brandy that doesn't seem to exist anywhere else!

2) El Taco

3) My room with a view

4) Being woken up at 4:30am by seagulls in the wintertime

5) Being woken up at 4:30am by the sunlight in the summertime

6) Getting post on Saturdays

7) Donatello's spinach tagliatelle pasta

8) Donatello's chocolate truffle cake

9) The sound of waves putting me to sleep

10) The sound of waves keeping me awake when trying to sleep

11) Having flatmates

12) Riding the double decker bus

13) Fiddler's Elbow

14) Bel Canto nights at the Gladstone

15) Cheap pints in the sunshine on campus

16) ASDA

17) Faith, Ravel, Office, Dolci's and Schuh

18) The Mash Tun

19) The boys' house on Newmarket Road

20) The incompetency of the pizza delivery men
