*Blush*

The last few weeks have been a bit disappointing for me in terms of success with job searching, fitness goals, and the seemingly unending task of ridding my bedroom of all of the crap I've saved since I was eight years old. But in the middle of a mild mental "breakdown" I received a very unexpected string on compliments from a boy I never expected to hear them from. Similar to the post before the last one in which I mentioned the kind words from a friend in between all the nagging I was getting, these kind words from the same friend came at the perfect moment.

When describing how he felt about me his first words:
"I'm captivated by you." *blush* And then:
"It's taken you moving half way around the world for me to realise just how lovely and special you really are."
My response: "Wow"

Now if all the men in my life were this sweet I would be a very happy girl. But then again if they were all this sweet and made me blush this much all the time, I wouldn't appreciate these huge compliments so much.

Thank you again, my friend. You've truly made this otherwise miserable girl re-think her recent bitterness.
