what a beautiful day!

The sun is shining and there is that perfect amount of wind blowing through the trees. It is a beautiful day and I am heading to the gym. *sigh*

I don't mind so much that I'm going today because I don't intend to do too much cardio - on this lovely Sunday I will go for a long walk outdoors instead of on the treadmill. Good plan indeed.

Last night my parents had about 30 people over for dinner and the party of mostly "oldies" as my cousin's boyfriend so sweetly termed them, lasted until after 1am. Well done mum and dad. It's always nice to see my parents' friends and my extended family, but last night I was exhausted about an hour into things because of being asked repeatedly about my plans to go back to England. It's not easy telling the same story over and over (even though I've shared it on here a few times, it's not as easy in person) and I get upset easily thinking about the possibility of not getting my visa.

My uncle Tim, one of my favourite people in the world, had a lot of positive energy and says he has a good feeling about it. That sort of thinking is appreciated - so if anyone out there has any positive energy to share, I'm starting to run low on mine.

Gym time.

I hope the visit to the gym helped give you some positive energy!
